Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with oil
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- In another bowl, combine milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined
- Fold in the chocolate chips carefully
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack
