Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Steps
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water
- Let the melted chocolate cool slightly before adding the egg yolks and sugar
- Mix until smooth
- In a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form
- Set aside
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form
- Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture gently
- Then, fold in the beaten egg whites until no white streaks remain
- Spoon the mixture into serving dishes
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving
